Eleanor's Mission

Oiiiii thank you everyone for the birthday wishes last week!! I really appreciated every single one! I promise I am in the process of responding to everyone;)  First week as a 20 year old was actually crazy! I am just going to bullet point some of the major parts so that I will actually finish the email haha - God answers prayers!! After asking in every single prayer to know who was ready to be baptized before the end of the month, we went on a miraculous division with Sister Blackwelder and marked a date with our friend Rita for the past Sunday! Planning the baptism in 3 days was wild but worked out in the end and was really really special. Rita is amazing, I love her!  - i DIED on friday. Never have been so sick in my life. But after 20 hours I was completely fine again.  - Hearing that President Nelson passed away on Sunday broke my heart.   Almost forgot to send an email today...again.... But here I am!  Little update for yall I am now with comp number 9 in area number 5! And I am love love loving Sister Kunz and the area of Póvoa!  Something I've been focusing on is diligence in the work! There is a quote in Preach my Gospel that says something like by serving diligently for long enough, we become different people, a little more like God!  Something that blew my mind this week is how much I have changed on my mission. I am a completely different person than I was a year ago. Even in just a month, I have seen so much growth in myself. I am scared that I am going to get comfortable and go back to where I was. To avoid this, I am trying to focus on being diligente in using the Atonement of Jesus Christ! The book of Hebrews calls it "striving against sin"  I hope that I can strive a little bit better to keep the change!  I wish I had more time to give a better update:( But yall can look at my g...
