"There is [a 10 minute nap] in my soul today"

Here's the question I've been struggling with the last couple of days.

How do I offer Christ a broken heart and contrite spirit without feeling broken all the time?

I would love your thoughts:)

This week was harddd but I also feel like God has given me so many opportunities to experience His incredible love for me and all His children.

On Tuesday we got to hear from Elder Uchtdorf! I don't think I've ever written so many notes haha. Shoot me an email if you want to hear more, but right now I just want to share one thing that really changed my week!
He really really stressed the importance of keeping an attitude of gratitude. Its amazing what you see when your eyes aren't shut to the wonders of God.

I especially needed an attitude of gratitude this week because we started Portuguese immersion. Basically, while in our classroom we aren't allowed to speak any English. Our lessons are pretty much just a huge game of charades haha.
I don't understand most of what's happening but I understand enough to get through the class. I really believe that it is the Gift of Tongues that is helping me understand whole concepts with my vocabulary of maybe 30 words.

Man my mind really goes blank when I start writing these emails. So much happened this week but I genuinely do not have the brain capacity to remember it. Sorry y'all I don't have anything more exciting... I promise that next week I'll have something really cool for ya. Maybe.

Actually, you know what's really really cool??
God loves you.
Hope you can remember that this week:)

Love,
Sis Greer
