Hump Day

I've thought a lot about what ive learned these last few months. I think the lesson most precious and real to me is that God loves His children. He listens to us and He speaks to us. Not just in a metaphorical general way. He speaks to us individually in personal ways. I didnt realize that before my mission. It was always enough for me that I felt happy when I read the scriptures or I felt loved when it started raining.

But on my mission Ive developed a greater need and desire for specific, personal revelation. The last nine months have challenged me in so many different ways. Because it was so hard at times, the only choice was to cry out to God. Ive had to trust that He will guide me and qualify me to do His work. The process has humbled me and changed me. Im so happy. Im so grateful. Grateful for my God who loves me. Grateful for my Savior who strenthens me. Grateful for the restored gospel. And grateful that I get to talk about how grateful I am every single day:)

Pray this week for our friend Sandra. She will be baptized this Sunday. She is a testimony to me that God is preparing people to hear the truth. More on that next week. I hope. Ive been in an every other week emailing groove.

I love you all! Have an amazing week<3
