Got transferred to Montijo to be with Sister Wagner 

I was SO sad to leave Setúbal and to pass over all of our icredible friends to the Elderes...again...

But talked it out with God and I know that Im supposed to be in Montijo right now. 
This week has been SO fun and filleddd with miracles. I love Sister Wagner and I love our tiny little ward. I am really happy here. 

I dont really know how to put into words what Ive learned this week. But I have a invite for all of you! Look back at what God has promised you if you are faithful. Study your covenants, your patriarchal blessing, your journal or just ponder about experiences you've had with Him. Trust that they will come true. Make plans/goals to fulfill your part the best you can. Change your plans as you learn more. But I have a testimony that God happily keeps every one of His promises in His own time. He loves us and wants to bless us. Prepare for miracles. 

Also I have a favor to ask of all the piano playing people here. I told Sister Blackwelder that I play piano and now I am stuck playing a song that is WAY too hard for me at zone conference next week. If anyone could send a voice recording of how the song is supposed to sound, i would be eternally grateful🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I Want to be a Butterfly

  On the byu speech grind and I found this cute story from a talk by Wendy Watson(Nelson) "A children’s story tells of a caterpillar named Yellow who is trying to find out what she should be doing with her life. In her wanderings she discovers another caterpillar seemingly caught in some gauzy, hairy filament. Concerned, she asks if she can help. He explains that this is all part of the process of becoming a butterfly. When she hears the word butterfly, her whole insides leap. “But what is a butterfly?” she asks. The cocooned caterpillar explains: “It’s what you are meant to become.” Yellow is intrigued but a bit defiant. “How can I believe there’s a butterfly inside you or me when all I see is a fuzzy worm?” On further reflection she pensively asks, “How does one become a butterfly?” And the answer? “You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.” The caterpillar life is appealing at times. The Peace which Passeth all Understanding

If you follow European news, you might have heard already that Portugal was part of a massive blackout this past Monday. So that is my excuse for not sending an email 2 weeks in a row.  Though the blackout ended up being harmless, it was scary as a missionary. We were told that Portugal had been cyberattacked. We were given instructions to go to the chapel immediately and make sure that we had a supply of food and water. The markets were crowded with people stocking up on water jugs, bread and toilet paper(pois) Our phones lost service so after recieving the emergency text, we had no idea what was going on. From the talk of people on the street and the members who stopped by the church, this was the start of war.  Obviously that was a little dramatic. But with all the panic and the lack of information, it felt real. Even so, we weren't that scared.
